Aloe Vera is one of the objects of my affection. I mean this succulent plant is filled with so much goodness and love; the gift that keeps on giving!

This plant, Scientifically called Aloe Barbadensis, has been used for centuries for several reasons both topically and internally. It is said that locations have even been conquered by aristocrats just to obtain this plant. With names like "THE plant of immorality", "Flower of the desert" , "Fountain of Youth", and "Elixir of eternal life"this botanical ingredient, along with most of our other ingredients is fit for royalty. Quite literally; the likes of Pharaoh, Cleopatra and Alexander the Great all raved on about it....
So we decided that this gem was fit for all you Kings and Queens to obtain that majestic, regal glow when you use Ahuva.
Aloe Vera comes in different forms, from its original gel state, to butter to juice to extract to concentrate. Often times it is mixed with another substance or ingredient to preserve it but because it is so rich on its own, the diluted versions still get the job done. Most of our products that include these ingredients are sourced from the USA. We tend to use the Aloe butter and or Aloe Vera Oily extract which are both mixed with a form of coconut.
Random Fun Fact
Christopher Columbus, who always tried to carry aloe on his journeys, was attributed the following sentence "All is well: we have aloe on board."
