Take a small amount of Shea Butter and warm it between your palms until it melts into a smooth, silky consistency. Apply directly to skin or hair as needed.

As a moisturiser, apply to clean skin after bathing to lock in moisture. For dry or problem areas such as elbows, knees and heels, apply generously and allow to absorb fully. As a hair treatment, work through the lengths and ends to seal in moisture, tame frizz and add shine, or apply directly to the scalp to soothe dryness and irritation. It also makes a wonderfully nourishing lip balm and cuticle treatment.

A little goes a long way. Start with a small amount and build up as needed.

• Why does it look and smell different from shea butter in shops? Most shop-bought shea butter is refined, which removes its colour and scent. Unrefined shea butter is ivory to pale yellow with an earthy, nutty smell. This is a sign it hasn't been heavily processed.
  

• Why is my shea butter grainy? Unrefined shea butter can form small grains if it melts and cools slowly, for example in warm weather. It doesn't affect quality, and the grains melt as soon as they touch your skin. To make it smooth again, gently melt it and cool it quickly in the fridge.
  

• Is it suitable for my face? Many people use it on dry facial skin. If your skin is oily or breakout-prone, try a small amount on one area first, as it's a rich butter.
  

• Is it safe if I have a nut allergy? Shea butter comes from a tree nut, but allergic reactions are rare. If you have a nut allergy, speak to your doctor before use and always patch test first.
  

• How should I store it? Keep it in a cool, dry place with the lid closed, away from direct sunlight.

Your Right to Return

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To be eligible for a return, please ensure that:

• The product was purchased within the last 14 days

• The product is in its original, sealed packaging

• The product has not been used or damaged

Please note: due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on any items that have been unsealed or opened. Products that do not meet the above criteria will not be eligible for return.

Return Postage

Unless the item is faulty, you will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return postage. Please obtain proof of postage when returning items, as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with your order details and a photo of the item. We will do our best to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, any refund due will be credited via your original payment method within 10 working days.
