IS THAT WEED?...
Lol. No it is not.
We will start off by saying too much of anything is never good, including "good" things. We do not at all endorse the illegal use of anything, neither do we support wrongful use.
That said, lets talk Cannabis Savita. Better known as Marijuana OR Hemp. That's right, though they are two varieties, they come from the same plant species. The Sativa plant tends to thrive in warmer weather, with most strains originating in countries located near the equator, such as Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Both varieties have amazing healing and nutrition properties. So what exactly is the difference?
Tetrahydrocannabinol.
Can you pronounce that?
No?
Oh..
Don't worry, neither can we
Well , most people call it THC for short. And this is the compound that can causes intoxication and other side effects.
Here's the Simple Breakdown:
Marijuana (Cannabis Oil): High in THC (the stuff that gets you high). Contains more than 0.3% THC. This is NOT what we use in our products.
Hemp Seed Oil: Contains 0.3% or less THC—legally, it can't get you intoxicated. This is what we use. It's packed with nutrients, fatty acids, and benefits for skin and hair, WITHOUT any psychoactive effects.
Think of it this way: they're cousins from the same family, but one went to law school (hemp) and the other... didn't (marijuana).
Random Fun Fact Hemp has been cultivated for over 10,000 years and was one of the first plants to be spun into usable fiber. Even the first Bibles were printed on hemp paper!
What is Hemp Seed Oil?
Hemp seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). Our organic hemp seed oil is sourced from Croatia and contains zero THC, meaning it's completely legal, safe, and non-intoxicating. The oil is lightweight, fast-absorbing, and suitable for all skin types. It's non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), making it perfect for even acne-prone or sensitive skin.

Main Benefits of Hemp Seed Oil:
1. Perfect Balance of Essential Fatty Acids Hemp seed oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in an ideal ratio that our bodies need. These essential fatty acids help maintain healthy skin barrier function, reduce inflammation, and keep skin moisturized and balanced. It's balancing and hydrating without being heavy or greasy.
2. Lightweight & Fast Absorbing Unlike heavier oils, hemp seed oil absorbs quickly into skin without leaving a greasy residue. It's perfect for daily use, as a facial oil, body moisturizer, or even as a massage oil. Because it's non-comedogenic, it won't clog pores, making it suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin.
3. Rich in Vitamin E & Antioxidants Loaded with Vitamin E, hemp seed oil protects skin from environmental damage and promotes healthy, glowing skin. It also supports scalp health, reduces dryness and dandruff, and is a perfect choice for your DIY beauty recipes.
A Personal Note:
When I first researched hemp seed oil, I'll admit I was a bit hesitant because of the stigma. But once I learned the science behind it, it was a yes! I call it the under-dog of carrier oils.
It's one of those ingredients that gets a bad rap because of its association with marijuana, but once you understand the difference, you realize it's just another incredible gift from God!
