Oenothera biennis. Sounds fancy doesn't it? Can you even pronounce it? Be honest... LOL! We can't so don't worry. That mumbo jumbu word is actually the scientific name for Evening Primrose oil. Yes, all ingredients have a scientific name even if they are organic. This shocked us too when we first started.
Anyway, lets look a little closer into this ingredient. The Evening Primrose Plant which originates in Native America but in our case is sourced from China, has naturalized in many places around the world where it is subtropical. I like to call this ingredient the hormone ingredient & you'll find out more why as you read the benefits below.

Random Fact
It is called "Evening" because the flowers blossom in the evening.
Isn't that beautiful? We think so. Gods handiwork.
Back to it.... This oil is fairly thick in texture and is absorbed slowly unless mixed with another carrier oil. It is a light yellow in appearance as expected from the plans petals.
The Main Benefits of Evening Primrose Oil:
On skin, it can boost collagen and elastin, hydrate extremely dry skin, even skin tone and has anti aging/wrinkling properties.
In the body, my doctor once recommended it making it even more reliable. This oil can aid with Depression, Menstruation, Breast pain, Menopause side effects, Eczema, Heart health and Nerve or Bone pain.
On our hair, like most oils that contain Omega 3, It can promote hair growth.
~Remember this: We are what we eat but we also are what we put on our bodies.~
