If any of you have purchased our 'Rose of Cherron' cuticle oil you will notice it has quite a unique scent. If you are anything like me, you probably did not read the ingredient list before you bought it to find out what exactly is in the oil either. If you did, you will know that my secret addition to this oil is Eucalyptus EO (Essential Oil). And while we are at it, I will let you into another little secret... 'Sweet-P' also has a hint of this natural gem.

So lets look a little closer into this tiny ingredient called Eucalyptus that seems to have such large & powerful abilities! Well actually, the leaf, which originates in Australia usually but in our case is sourced from South Africa, comes from a very large tree. One that grows up to 200 feet high.

Did you know that this is what Eucalyptus actually looks like? I didn't. Its not just useful in properties, but also beautiful in aesthetics. So beautiful that it regularly makes its way down the aisle, often being chosen to fill a brides Bouquet. So this plant is definitely a keeper ;) .

Enough about the history of this plant, lets talk about its relevancy to you in our oils.

The Essential Oil holds very powerful antiviral & expectorant properties and stimulates the immune system making its very essential (see what i did there) at a time like this, with Covid19 looming around. This weapon of an oil is what made the famous 'Vicks' so famous. It is also anti fungal, antiseptic, speeds up healing of wounds and joint pain and is an insecticide. You got it, the aroma of the plant keeps those creepy crawlies away, making it even more natural when grown as the arborists and tree surgeons never need to worry about pesticides.

This ingredient adds a whole new dimension to our cuticle range. Not only will it benefit your hands & feed, but also your respiratory system, bones and entire well being.
